     By combining both the veterinary and farrier expertise of Dr. Britt Conklin, DVM, CF The Podiatry Center at Reata specializes in treating complex podiatry issues such as laminitis and navicular syndrome, but has the ability to treat any foot ailment. Our staff will use all diagnostic tools available, such as digital radiography and venograms in order to determine the problem with your horse and create a personalized program to facilitate its recovery. We have the only North Texas facility specifically dedicated to treating diseases and lameness associated with the foot, and we are dedicated to a podiatry program that will enable your horse to live and work, without pain and limitation, to its full potential.

     At The Podiatry Center at Reata, our main goal is to develop a unique program for each patient, their owners, and farriers, specifically designed to treat the needs of both individuals in order to help the patient reach his/her full potential. In order to accomplish that goal, we must work as a team with our patients and their owners; therefore, we take pride in educating our clients and involving them in the treatment of their horse.

  • Full Blacksmith Shop (we can fabricate any shoe necessary from glue- on, to aluminum and steel)
