The reproduction facilities of Reata Equine Hospital include:

• A large climate controlled room with rubber floors for safety and convenience in stallion collection, handling foals and performing examinations on broodmares and recipient mares.
• A complete semen processing lab with the capabilities to process, evaluate, store and ship both frozen and cooled semen on any stallion.
• A state of the art embryo transfer facility with the capabilities to evaluate and ship single or multiple embryos.
• A large barn with the capabilities of housing approximately 150 mares at one time in very large, spacious stalls giving mares and foals plenty of room.
• An in-house laboratory that allows us to run complete blood chemistries and neonatal immunoglobulin levels.
• NEW – A USDA approved semen processing facility for international shipment of frozen semen.
