Dr. Tim Lammers, DVM, DACVS:

     Dr. Tim Lammers grew up on a farm in southern Idaho, before attending the University of Idaho where he studied pre-veterinary medicine. He then attended veterinary school at Washington State University, where he was awarded the ACVS Large Animal Student Surgeon Award on his way to graduating Cum Laude and becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from Washington State University, Tim completed a Large Animal surgical internship and was accepted into the Large Animal Surgery Residency Program of TAMU, where he completed his surgery training in 2004. After completion of his residency, Tim moved to Pilot Point, Texas where he worked as a veterinarian/ surgeon at a private referral practice in Aubrey, Texas.

     In 2006, Dr. Lammers joined the Reata Equine Hospital team as chief surgeon, where he performs all types of abdominal, soft tissue, and orthopedic surgical procedures. Dr. Lammers has become one of the area’s most trusted and well-known equine surgeons and has helped Reata Equine Hospital become a highly recommended referral hospital.

     Tim is married to Brenda Lammers, who is a teacher’s aide in the Aledo School System. They have three children, Bodee , Judd, and Laressa.
